Carolina placed Mike Jackson on injured reserve September 30 after a groin injury in the Week 3 game against Cleveland. He had surgery September 29, and Dave Canales said Wednesday that the injury was not season-ending.
A recovery estimate is not a confirmed activation date. Read the Panthers secondary update for the distinction between rehabilitation and return eligibility. The September 20 active-roster observation remains below as history.
Earlier roster observation
Mike Jackson is listed at CB on the Carolina Panthers roster checked September 20, 2026. The official source lists the roster status as Active roster (ACT).

Regular-season records. Totals use each recorded season once, even when team splits and a combined row are both shown. Rates are recalculated from the counted totals. A dash means a value is missing or cannot be calculated reliably; these records do not establish complete career coverage. The current-season row is as of the update time above and can differ from the season statistics section, which adds up box scores through the latest recorded final.
