The Bengals went 12–4 in the regular season and the Chiefs went 14–3. The Chiefs had already beaten the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Divisional round. The Chiefs went on to win Super Bowl LVII, beating the Philadelphia Eagles 38–35. The loss ended the Bengals’ season.
