Steelers beat Browns 27–24 in 2016 Week 17

The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cleveland Browns 27–24 at home at Heinz Field in overtime in Week 17 of the 2016 regular season on January 1, 2017. It was decided by 3 points, a field goal or less.

It was the only game of Week 17 to need overtime.

The result moved the Steelers to 11–5 and dropped the Browns to 1–15. It was the Steelers’ seventh straight win. The Browns finished 2016 at 1–15 and missed the playoffs. The Steelers finished 2016 at 11–5 and lost in the AFC Championship Game.
