Chiefs beat Chargers 23–20 in 2020 Week 2

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers 23–20 on the road at SoFi Stadium in overtime in Week 2 of the 2020 regular season on September 20, 2020. It was decided by 3 points, a field goal or less.

It was the only game of Week 2 to need overtime.

The result moved the Chiefs to 2–0 and dropped the Chargers to 1–1. The Chiefs finished 2020 at 14–2 and lost Super Bowl LV. The Chargers finished 2020 at 7–9 and missed the playoffs.
