The Seahawks went 10–5–1 in the regular season and the Falcons went 11–5. The Falcons’ run ended in the Super Bowl LI, a 34–28 loss to the New England Patriots. The loss ended the Seahawks’ season.
In their previous meeting, the Seattle Seahawks won 26–24 on October 16, 2016. When they met again, the Atlanta Falcons won 34–31 on November 20, 2017.
