Bengals beat Steelers 26–23 in 2001 Week 16

The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 26–23 at home at Paul Brown Stadium in overtime in Week 16 of the 2001 regular season on December 30, 2001. It was decided by 3 points, a field goal or less.

It was the only game of Week 16 to need overtime.

The result moved the Bengals to 5–10 and dropped the Steelers to 12–3. The Steelers finished 2001 at 13–3 and lost in the AFC Championship Game. The Bengals finished 2001 at 6–10 and missed the playoffs.
