Eagles beat Browns 34–31 in 2004 Week 7

The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Cleveland Browns 34–31 on the road at Cleveland Browns Stadium in overtime in Week 7 of the 2004 regular season on October 24, 2004. It was decided by 3 points, a field goal or less.

It was the only game of Week 7 to need overtime.

The result moved the Eagles to 6–0 and dropped the Browns to 3–4. It was the Eagles’ sixth straight win. The Eagles finished 2004 at 13–3 and lost Super Bowl XXXIX. The Browns finished 2004 at 4–12 and missed the playoffs.

In their previous meeting, the Philadelphia Eagles won 35–24 on December 10, 2000. When they met again, the Philadelphia Eagles won 30–10 on December 15, 2008.
