Saints beat Giants 48–27 in 2009 Week 6

The New Orleans Saints beat the New York Giants 48–27 at home at Louisiana Superdome in Week 6 of the 2009 regular season on October 18, 2009.

The 75 combined points were the most in any game of Week 6.

The result moved the Saints to 5–0 and dropped the Giants to 5–1. It was the Saints’ fifth straight win. The Giants finished 2009 at 8–8 and missed the playoffs. The Saints finished 2009 at 13–3 and won Super Bowl XLIV.
