Brock Purdy was named NFC Offensive Player of the Month on Thursday after helping San Francisco finish September unbeaten.

Purdy completed 60 of 83 passes for 789 yards, nine touchdowns and one interception across San Francisco’s first three games. His 72.3 percent completion rate and 133.1 passer rating came with no sacks taken. He also ran for 93 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.

The 49ers quarterback closed September with 297 passing yards and four touchdowns in a 36-30 win over Arizona. His nine touchdown passes through three weeks set a franchise high, topping the eight thrown by Frankie Albert in 1948 and Steve Young in 1995.

He also received the Week 2 NFC offensive award and Air & Ground recognition for Week 3. San Francisco takes its 3-0 record into Sunday’s home game against Denver at Levi’s Stadium.
